ROUGH CUT COMPLETE

Rough cut complete. Although there is still a long way to go in terms of
sound and graphics, the basic picture of "24 Hours of Craigslist" has been
completed! We have begun to submit to festivals and hope to have our
premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival in April 2004.

October 10, 2003

OCTOBER UPDATE

After accumulating over 160 hours of footage, principal photography has
stopped. All told, we have followed up on over 130 stories from
Craigslist San Francisco 8/4/2003. Some are happy, some sad, some
hilarious, and others simply unbelievable. Although we probably have
enough film to create an entire season of TV, our lovely and talented
editor, Jennifer Russ, has been working since 8/4 to assemble the mass
into a coherent feature film portrait of all the possibilities of a single
24 hour period on CL. Good luck!

September 10, 2003

SEPTEMBER UPDATE

The soundtrack evolves. After placing a post on Craigslist for music
submissions, we have received over 200 CDs from local and national talent.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUBMISSIONS! We are going to have an excellent,
eclectic soundtrack which, like our crew, was formed entirely from
Craigslist.

August 8, 2003

PRODUCTION UPDATE

Hello everyone and thanks for all your great responses to the Craigslist
movie. We now have thousands of posts to follow up on, and the task has
already begun! Don’t worry if you missed the 8/4 deadline, there will
still be dozens of chances to participate in the following weeks as our 24
hours worth of CL posts unravels itself into the daily flow of the Bay Area community.
Just keep your eyes open and check back here for announcements of events
being chronicled by our team. Where will it all end? Well, we’re definitely going to Burning Man
and we have at least one event that will culminate at the Castro street fair on October
7. After that, it’s anyone’s guess...

August 4th, 2003

FIRST DAY OF PRODUCTION

Shooting for "24 Hours on Craigslist" is underway and our crews are working
at a feverish pace! We're pleased to announce that CNN.com has published
an article about the movie, featuring Craig Newmark himself and Zealot
Pictures co-founder and director, Michael Ferris Gibson.
